Making Miracles

There’s so much talk about the art of manifestation. It’s been made into a skill we acquire rather than an innate gift we uncover.

Manifestation is a process that mirrors our true nature. It lives in the unseen and seen.

Often, we get caught up in the physical world and underestimate the potency of belief. Yet, to steadfastly believe is to honor the greater part of you that is nonphysical.

Remember, what you see is only a portion of your story.

Tweet this: Your belief is a portal to the miraculous.

Enough is Enough

We often talk in terms of what we deserve. Mainstream conditioning erroneously leads us to believe that we must be enough of something in order to obtain something else. We ask the questions:

“Am I attractive enough to be noticed?”
“Am I smart enough to be acknowledged?”
“Am I powerful enough to be respected?”
“Am I good enough to be loved?”

In the constant search for enough-ness,  your true origins are forgotten. Remember that you are literally made of “star stuff” and no one has ever questioned the worth of the cosmos.

Tweet this: Your birth affirmed your worth.

Under Pressure

As is said, worry is a misuse of imagination (Dan Zadra). What starts as a single concern can quickly escalate. Before you know it, you are caught in the undercurrent of cascading thoughts.

It is worry’s duty to confront you with the enormity of the worst case scenario. However, you need not go for the ride. Whenever overwhelm hits, bring it back to the moment at hand. Your power cannot be found when your attention is scattered amongst the many (erroneous) stories your mind is telling you. You can choose to get ahead of yourself or get a hold of yourself.

A Love Connection

Some days, you’re more attuned than others. Sometimes, it’s a moment to moment affair. And in those times when attunement wavers, comes the experience of worry, doubt, fear, envy, insecurity, boredom, stagnancy, unhappiness and even hatred.

Consider each of these states nothing more than a craving for connection.

Whether in the form of connecting to another human or nature or one’s own creativity, there’s a recurrent call to commune with spirit. Time and time again, you will be urged to remember your Divinity by recognizing it where it lives inside and outside of you.

Joy and Pain

Through challenges, we test the limits of our courage and strength. However, we have a tendency to think of pain as the “best” teacher. What we are subconsciously telling ourselves is that, life must be hard if we are to learn anything.

While our painful experiences hold valuable lessons, pain does not have a monopoly on wisdom. The lessons you learn from joy can be just as transformative.

Pain inherently gets our attention, but with growing consciousness, one can remain attentive regardless of the state.

Remember, joy isn’t an empty reprieve. Wisdom resides there, too.

The Truth About Compassion

To feel empathy for another requires some level of connection.

Unfortunately, many of us look for that connection only at the level of identity. As a result, we can only extend “compassion” to those reminding us of who we used to be, who we are, and/or who we aspire to be.

We reserve it for those we consider equals. Individuals outside of those parameters receive pity at best and scorn at worst.

True compassion arises from the level of the soul. What is recognized is the shared humanity, not shared identity.

Tweet this: Judgment voids compassion.
