Granted we all have different personalities and some need more activity than others. But how often do you set aside time to just be with yourself?
It doesn’t have to be meditation. It doesn’t have to be extended. But everyone can use a little downtime.
We give our electronics time to recharge. Perhaps we can choose to give ourselves the same courtesy.
Five minutes. Or maybe just 60 seconds.
One minute to do nothing but breathe. Just be.
One minute without worry, without expectation, without doubt.
One minute to fill up on nothing but the miraculous force that created you.
