Speak Up

PrintThink about the thoughts you try to hide. How many words have been left unsaid? How many actions haven’t been taken? How much unfinished business remains?

We often suppress the things we find uncomfortable to deal with out in the open. The irony is that the suppression usually leads to a deeper kind of discomfort.

We trade momentary uneasiness for  a sustained experience of it.

Just like we need to purge our physical environments, we need to do the same with the internal. All the stuff that we hold in eats away at our mental well being. When we’re living from a space of internal disturbance, our perspective becomes distorted. Consequently, our decisions and actions are tainted with the imbalance.

Tweet this – The unsaid undermines the possibility of peace.

What do you need to do to cleanse internally? What needs to be said?
